Whilst in prison, he received no education and no family visits.
Mohammad, in the company of his mother, Somaya, will share their experiences with the audience to foster a better understanding of the situation facing Palestinian children.
We will also be joined by Gerard Horton, from Defence for Children International — Palestine , a lawyer working in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Abdelfattah Abusrour, President of Palestinian Theatre League; and there will be additional testimony from our esteemed guests who have extensive knowledge of the region and the shocking situation facing vulnerable children.

Student Activity The student Stop the War society is organising a 'Carnival of Resistance' for Michaelmas term and would has invited PalSoc to take part. The idea is still quite loose but in essence it's going to be a street carnival in the centre of Oxford (Broad St most likely) celebrating resistance in all forms. There'll be speakers, music, poets, dance, information stalls etc...

We have stalls booked at the One World Fair (21 Nov) and Green Fair (12 Dec). Both are at Oxford Town Hall. We will need lots of volunteers to help on these days at the stalls and also people with cars to transport materials to and from the Town Hall in the morning and afternoon. If you are able to help, even if only for an hour, please contact me at carolineraine1@btinternet.com

Dear all It's not too soon to start planning activities in churches during advent to raise awareness about the reality of the "little town" and the rest of Palestine. We have an excellent video (about 30 minutes long) called "Bethlehem, hidden from view" put together by Garth Hewitt of the Amos Trust. If you can arrange a showing in your local church it would be really good. We have a few copies, so would be able to lend you one.Let me know (and if you'd also like one of us to come to the showing we'd be glad to do that) My e-mail is pamela.parsons@ntlworld.comthanks Pam
