Diary date please... Saturday
December 7th at the Friends Meeting House 43 St Giles Oxford, between 2pm and

Christianity
was born in Palestine two thousand years ago. From
there it spread throughout the Middle East and the rest of the world.
Yet many are unaware Christians still live in the land. For more
than 60 years, the Palestinians, Christians and Muslims, have suffered
displacement, expulsion, wars, occupation and oppression.
The voices
of Palestinian Christians have all too often been drowned out in the turmoil of
events.
This is
their story, in their voices, from the Nakba of 1948 until today.
Please join us for this
event that is jointly organised with Friends of Sabeel, UK

Every Saturday 11.30-1.30pm: OXFORD PSC STALL in
Cornmarket by St Michael at Northgate church. The OPSC Saturday street stall
on Cornmarket Street is one of the main ways we use for raising the issue of
Palestine with the public at large. It is an important activ

ity for offering information leaflets to the public,
inviting them to join PSC or leave their email for Oxford PSC updates.
Generally we are there 11:30 to 13:30. Always a minimum of two people on shift.
Please consider volunteering for a shift: it’s an opportunity to meet other PSC
members, those wanting information and occasionally those wishing to challenge
our views, even volunteering for one shift a year would help. Please email Ali
at OPSCstall@gmail.com if you're able to help.

AMMAN – Outgoing commissioner general of UNRWA
Filippo Grandi warned on Tuesday that the impoverished Gaza Strip is getting
quickly unsuitable for human life as a result of the blockade, expecting
further military escalation between Gaza and Israel.
Grandi made his warning before the advisory
commission of major donors and governments hosting the Palestinian refugees
during a meeting held yesterday in the Jordanian capital Amman.
“Gaza is quickly becoming uninhabitable, and
further conflict is bound, as before, to affect civilians in Gaza and southern
Israel, unless its causes are addressed,” the UN official said.
He called on the international community not to
forget Gaza and to address the human dimension.
Please email me to remind me of events you want to
be publicised, as I find I’m sometimes forgetful.
